CLASSES

The Onondaga Nation Arena has started providing interesting classes to the community, expanding their functions of entertainment and eduction in Central New York.

All Onondaga language classes are open to all Native Americans interested in attending

Monday

5:00pm - 6:30pm

Teen Class
-Jump right in and learn the words to talk about different topic. And learn our alphabet system as we go, so you can read and write and be understood.

Wednesday

2:30pm – 5:00pm		Beginners -learning the sounds and letters of Onon˜daøgegaø -The basic structure of an Onon˜daga word. -Particles
5:00pm - 7:00pm		Intermediate Class -This class is working on the statives aspect -Habitual aspect. -Negating -Now form -Building more on our sentence.

Thursday

10:00am - 12:30pm

Elders
- We gather with the elders who still speak the language fluently to ask how to say things in Onondaga. All Natives are welcome to participate and or listen.
